Based in the UK, Tassos leads the European Planning and Marketing team, dealing with all aspects of business planning as well as leading strategy projects. In this role, Tassos covers Europe, Russia/CIS and N. Africa.

Tassos studied Economics at the University of Piraeus (1981-5) and took his MSc in Operational Research at the London School of Economics (1986-7).

Tassos started his career as a Research Officer in Business Strategy at the London Business School. In 1990, he joined the oil industry and worked for a number of Oil Majors (e.g. Texaco) leading New Business Development and Project Appraisal projects in the EMEA region. In 2001, he joined the Boston Consulting Group where he headed the Global Oil & Gas Research function consulting oil & gas companies. In 2005, Tassos joined GE Energy and rotated in a number of roles before heading up the planning and marketing team in Europe. In his current role, Tassos leads a team of ten strategists and marketers.
