Winfried has a degree in Chemistry from the University of Hannover. He started his professional career as a HS&E consultant to SMEs of various industries and then took responsibility as the environment manager in the aluminium industry. He joined Deutsche Post World Net in 2002 and since has played a significant role in shaping the Group´s global approach to sustainability, environment and climate change, with the Group´s GoGreen climate protection program and its portfolio of climate friendly GOGEEN products and services as major results.
